Cherry

American or Black Cherry, also called Wild Cherry, remains ever popular for cabinetry and furniture, also hardwood flooring and almost any other fine woodworking application. Its grain is usually straighter than some others, but can display quite exquisite figuring. The depth of color varies from region to region, and also depending on how the lumber is dried.

A beautiful, 10″ wide piece of 5/4 FAS Cherry, with some of that feature often known as ‘quilting’. The undulating grain is present throughout the wood, and imparts an almost three dimensional quality when the wood is finished.

Our current inventory contains some 1800ft of 4/4 lumber, 800ft of 8/4, as well as several hundred live-edge flitches up to 12′ long. Ample opportunities to find the perfect supplies for any project.
